According to the news published in the English portal India TV, Dr. Akash Shah, Consultant Pathologist of Newberg Diagnostics, Ahmedabad, is telling where the pain of heart attack occurs in the body other than the chest. Apart from the chest, the pain starts in these parts of the body. Pain in neck, jaw and shoulder: The pain of heart attack can spread from the chest to the neck, jaw and shoulders.

It is common in women and is often mistaken for a dental or muscle problem. Pain in the arm: If you have persistent pain in your left arm, it is also one of the symptoms of a heart attack. The pain of a heart attack can spread to the left arm. In some cases, the pain reaches both arms and causes a feeling of heaviness or discomfort.

Back pain: Some patients who suffer from a heart attack complain of pain in the upper back. This pain often occurs between the shoulder blades. It is more common in women, but people usually mistake it for a muscle strain or fatigue. Abdominal pain: Upper abdominal pain, often mistaken as a symptom of indigestion or dyspepsia, can be a symptom of a heart attack. If these symptoms are accompanied by shortness of breath and fatigue as well as nausea or vomiting, you should immediately consult a doctor.
